Projects
Set up your first project.
A project in rootli is an isolated space, which defines your infrastructure (servers and networks), the state of your servers (applied roles, sites, databases, database-users) and your team.
API key
Each project needs an API key of a supported cloud server provider. If you do not have an API key yet, there's help: Hetzner provides excellent documentation on that topic.
To prevent overlapping configuration, we strongly suggest that each project defined in rootli matches a project in your hetzner cloud account.
Settings
Each project offers a settings-section in the sidebar navigation. You can change the project name or manage team members.
Team members
A project is owned by the person who created a project, but it can be managed by a team. A project owner can create invitations that are automatically sent via email.
Once the invitation has been accepted, the accepting user is part of the team.
An invitation link is valid for one day.
The email address of the provided email address does not have to match the email address of the user's rootli-account.
